Mock Trial to be Held in American Government

The defendant is charged with reckless conduct, battery, and aggravated battery. Students will participate as attorneys, witnesses, and jurors. Trial dates are set for March 21 and March 22, with various methods of preparation the week leading up to the trial.

Economics Test 4 Friday, March 16

Test will be over various aspects of the U.S. economy, such as the Federal Reserve, inflation, unemployment, taxes, poverty, and market structures. Consumer topics such as characteristics of effective consumers, consumer rights, identity theft, fraud, and consumer complaints will also be included. A study guide for the test has been made available, and review activities will be conducted in class Tuesday, March 13 through Thursday, March 15.
